Why Kyocera Printers Get Paper Jams

Step 1 — Turn Off the Printer
Always turn off your Kyocera printer before attempting to clear a paper jam. This protects both you and the printer components.
Step 2 — Open All Access Panels
Open the front cover, rear cover and any side panels. Kyocera printers typically have multiple access points for paper removal.
Step 3 — Remove the Jammed Paper
Pull the jammed paper gently and slowly in the direction of paper travel. Never pull paper backwards as this can damage the fuser unit. If paper tears, remove all pieces carefully.
Step 4 — Check the Feed Rollers
